Id love to hear your thoughts on SoCal schools. Currently looking at Harbor Day, St. Margarets, and Mirman starting Kindergarten. We are in south OC and will relocate to LA if Mirman turns out to be the best option.

Not sure how these compare to each other, and if there are better options in the area.

I have looked into De Portola Elementary which is a public school with large cluster GATE program, but after I asked a few questions, I was basically told to go look at private schools.

Thank you in advance for your input!

San Jose St ES and Eagle Rock ES are the only elementary schools with highly gifted options. Otherwise there are many gifted magnet programs listed in the last PDF.

Note that Eagle rock's HG program is from grades 3-6, while San Jose's HG program is from grades 2-5. For K-1, look into SAS sites
