To a casual observer, high achievement and being regarded as accomplished may seem to come out of the blue as though by pure luck or chance.

Those closer to a situation may see the years of dedicated effort, focused concentration, talent development, prioritizing and channeling one's time into a hobby, putting one's work "out there" where it may be critiqued or criticized... valuing the intrinsic reward of inspiration and opportunity for hard work, learning, and honing one's skill... while acknowledging parental support, encouragement, or coaching... all preceding the fortuitous timing of circumstances, which may lead to external reward, with possible name recognition, fame, and/or fortune.
