My son is now 5 weeks away from graduating H.S. I am very glad I found this board four years ago.

He has settled on a university and because of his 2E situations didn't go to a top ranked school, but a well respected large state university. I am very happy with his choice and think it's an excellent fit for him. In addition he leaves in 6 weeks to work as a camp counselor for 2 months.

Hard to believe this from my very introverted preteen. Things really didn't look great in 6th grade through freshman year in H.S. But he is a very different 18 year old. There really is hope that the preteens will settle down as they age.

    Very exciting and inspiring news!

You have obviously done a good job of meeting his needs and nourishing his strengths.

I hope I will be able to report the same myself for my DD in 5 years :-)
