Radio Shack are under the weather again - for consumers it means a 20% discount on everything in the store.

There are also some cool projects to teach soldering that allow a person to solder own Theramin from basic components etc in some of the stores.

I will mourn the loss of Radio Shack if it does fold.

Rant:

The irony is that electronics have never been more accessible/powerful/cheap but the education system has not kept up so kids don't even know what's out there for them.
