Two years after the first testing we are looking to test my DS8 again, this time with a 2E specialist.

First time around he was diagnosed with ADHD, was gifted verbally and his achievement scores were much higher than his cognitive scores. The local neuropsych was not a 2E specialist and the testing experience was mediocre at best.

We switched schools to a much faster paced curriculum and he is doing much better. We have not used meds since the initial failed attempt 2 years ago.

But as EF becomes more important we would like to take a fresh look with new testing before making decisions.

We are looking for feedback on Dr. Beljan in AZ and Dr. David Palmer in Laguna Beach.

    Thank you!

Thanks for sharing Portia. That is interesting. We are so dizzied up and are proceeding carefully.

Where was the seminar? Who gave it? Wondering if I can find it on You Tube.

We had Dr. Palmer test our then DS8 (now DS12). I really liked him and found him extremely thorough and responsive. FWIW, DS tested as HG+ and his EF did/does lag and is starting to kick in now. I am thankful for that given that he is in 7th grade now!

PM if you want any details!

What do you see when you say "starting to kick in now"? What changes have you seen?
We also have 2-3 STDs between VCI/VSI and WMI/PSI and her executive function is still lagging behind but I think I'm also seeing positive changes. We are also in the 7th grade.
