I was wondering if any of your kids have been to this program. There isn't any info. Online about costs, courses, dates, how selective is the program, etc.
Was this a good experience for you child? Thanks, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I believe it's only for Davidson Young Scholars between the ages of 8 and 12 and is a private event.

Yes, I know it's only for DYS kids but just wanted more info from parents that actually had their kid in the program. I know this year it is too late but I was thinking of having my son do it for next summer.

When a child becomes a DYS, parents complete an enrollment process which includes agreeing to maintain confidentiality, and may also choose to become an active member of a DYS-parents-only forum, which may be a great place to have that discussion.

Here is a post to a thread about DYS questions, on this public forum.

Here is the DITD link to the DYS program information page.

We have not actually tried the program, but as I recall all the basic information you are looking for can be found in the private website for DYS (or at least the last time I looked several years back). As for opinions/testimonials, there should also be a discussion thread already or you can create one to catch kids who are doing it this summer. That forum is rather slow but you should get some good Intel before the registration deadline for next summer.
