Today is my DS's 11th birthday. He is having a tough day, but getting through it. He is ticcing a lot today, usually his medicine helps him keep it under wraps until the end of the day but he started up this morning. At school assembly he kept needing to hold my hand, and was never more than 3 feet away from me until he had to go to class.

And I thought to myself, thank god for this forum, because when I am having a tough day, even if I don't post, seeing the support everyone gives to each other on these boards gets me through it.

Thanks for helping me feel like I'm not alone, and giving me the support so I can be there for my DS and my DD.

Happy birthday to your kiddo! Wishing you both a great year ahead.

School assemblies can be tricky... wondering if they are going to call your name, then possibly a combination of relief and disappointment when it is over (whether they called your name, or not). Hopefully the tics disappeared after the suspense of the assembly.

    Hi Indigo -

He had a great day so far - he's still revved up but he came home from school and isn't ticcing.
