If your child took this test did you choose to have a write up done or did you just ask for the scores?

My payment included a write up and we found the write up to be very useful.

Lulubell, we received a written report but that was part of the package we paid for up front, and my kids were being evaluated for challenges rather than straight-up gifted evals.

I didn't see the WISC scores (if you posted them), but would be happy to look at them if you have concerns or questions about gaps. I'm not a professional, just a parent with 2e kids who have gaps in their WISC profiles due to their 2e issues. I'd second the recommendation to pm aeh - she's a school psychologist and she's extremely insightful and helpful.

    Best wishes,

    polarbear

My son was recently tested by his school psychologist. We received his scores, and no further information, which left us with several questions. After posting his scores on this forum and receiving lots of insightful information from aeh and polarbear, I knew which questions to ask of the school psychologist.

I'm not familiar with what is included in a detailed report, but if you don't have the option of talking with the psychologist after you get results, I would think the report could prove beneficial, especially if the scores aren't in line with what you expect.
