DD took the SCAT two months ago. The proctor came to talk to me and said there was an error with the test that they could not fix and prometric would let her test again for free. We received the results for the first SCAT and they were both around 40th percentile. DD tested again last week and both verbal and quantitative were well over 90th percentile, which was more in line with her IQ scores (99.9th percentile). Has anyone had such wildly inconsistent SCAT scores? I know there were issues with the first test but dang😜! Also, has anyone let their child do the CTY online courses and were they worth the money?

When my DS took the SCAT, there was another boy who had issues with the test not loading properly on his computer. The boy said that the first time he pressed the "Continue" button that the computer froze and would not respond. He was being offered a free re-test by prometric while I was there. This could very well be what happened to your DD on her first try.
