Does anyone know why the Free Speech at College thread got nuked?

I thought it was a valuable thread that, though it may have run its course, was an important discussion about trends in college life and was therefore relevant to people who may be going to college (like gifted kids).

Odd that a thread about free speech got erased in its entirety.

I thought it tied nicely with some of the quirks that are often discussed on the forums here, in fact-- that of the need for our kids to understand that sometimes, they may not like the consequences of their tendency to question authority, say things which offend or are startling, etc.

I started the thread that was deleted and saved the initial post, which I can PM to anyone wondering what is being discussed.

Wouldn't mind the PM, I am a bit curious. Was on vacation with my DD20 who is in college this past week+ and wasn't checking in on this board.
