DS & DD are still doing great academically and socially. It's all quite relaxed now that they are half-year middle school veterans.
On the other hand, I will be approaching the district math department in an effort to influence DS' curriculum for the next two years as due to the double acceleration he will not have any math classes available at the middle school. I would like to sell them on AOPS Algebra 2, Algebra 3 and Precalculus and actually have some good arguments lined up, thanks to Richard Ruczyck but wanted to bide my time for maximum persuasion and optimal timing. I am also thinking of approaching the school about grouping at least one of the GT7 Algebra classes so that the good students aren't bored to death with their remedial classmates.
Okay, I know those are tall orders but you gotta dream!
