    Hello Parents,

My daughter is a YS in Davidson and recently wrote this blog post for "kids like her" I am sharing it here because it is her hope that it will help kids who might be struggling to fit in. Please read share with your child if they are having a hard time or feel free to share with other parents and kids.

The idea behind the project is to empower her (and all kids) and that everything is a gift, even your struggles.

"An Open Letter to kids like me..": http://amasalmondrocca.blogspot.com/

Thank you for reading and sharing,

    Allison

Hmmm. Sounds like you have a great relationship with your daughter and it's great that she can express herself so well. I'm curious about what what the school is doing about the bullying, and why she has to put up with it, though.

This is heart warming that your daughter is going through difficult times, yet is thinking of others. TFS.

That is a great question syoblrig, especially as a parent reader. As parents, we are very satisfied with how the school and teachers have been handling the situation. They have been empathetic, thoughtful and strategic throughout the process smile Because she wrote this, and it was intended for other children--it leaves a lot of the "behind the scenes" aspects out.
