Just in case it's useful to others, we are using the Thinkwell Biology and Geology to supplement textbooks. The lectures are good, and the great thing (as with any video series) is that we can just use the ones we need and skip over any examples that are unneeded.

I had wondered for some time about the quality, but since I'm a humanities type, I was having a hard time teaching dc Bio and Geometry beyond just re-learning via the textbook along with him. The teachers have greater mastery than I do and considerably more enthusiasm, esp. in Bio. I can't imagine this would be sufficient for a STEM kid, but it seems quite intellectually respectable to me.
