I'm new to this page so I'm still figuring out how it works, but I have a question. My son is 12 and seems to be regressing. I'm wondering if he really is or if it his school, part of development, or just he's not as smart as we thought. He was placed in the "low" class this year, which is driving me up a wall. He has been disengaged in school but has maintained A's. He's very well behaved and rather perfectionistic - he doesn't want to make a mistake or get in trouble and things have to be done "the right way" so teachers think he's the perfect student. He's complained of being bored since kindergarten, but teachers look at me like I'm crazy when I try to tell them that. Any input would be greatly appreciated! I'm not sure what step to take next...
