They have cut funding for the pull out program for any gifted kids in the public schools. Public school will now offer GIEP enrichment in the classroom (overwhelmed classroom). I am looking into Abington Friends School. Does anyone have experience with gifted kids that are going there? Any problems with gifted kids in this school? Any other options? AFS is very expensive, any funding I can apply for?
My 6 yo is HG (149) and my 8 yo is going through WISC IV this month, looks high in the subtests he has already completed.(17, 19)
