Does anyone have experience with the self-contained gifted classes at Kyrene Monte Vista?
I have my son on the list for the 1st grade self-contained class they are trying to add this fall. I had a good impression from a tour I did recently, and the principal has an obvious passion for having a gifted program at her school.
Any experience in the other grades? I'm particularly concerned about project-based learning--has that happened for your child there?
This is the best option near my home; otherwise, it's probably drive to Chandler for the Knox Gifted Academy. I figure staying closer to my home means more time for the rest of our lives.
