My son is currently in 4th grade at a charter school which is no longer serving his needs. Their math program is just not suitable. There is less than an hour of math instruction a week. We are looking for a private or public charter in the area that might be a better fit. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Basis is also what I was going to suggest. They have admissions events going on right now.

I don't know much about the area, as I am new, but I did hear good things about the Discovery Charter Schools as well as Hacienda Science/Environmental magnet school.

Coming back to add The Proof School - they are a little out of your way (SF city). But they are holding admissions events.
