I am sitting in the sun outside while ds4.10 gets tested. It sounds like he is answering the questions while doing starjumps. The tester is tired so I guess at least it will keep her awake. They have been going over an hour so he must be nearly finished. It is odd I have no idea how the results will come out. I know he is gifted but I don't know if he is pg like his brother. In some ways I hope not.

Not PG. Tested as 143 so HG but probably would test EG if a bit older. He has far greater perfectionist tendancies that his brother so doesn't guess and was really too tired for the last 15 mins. He also has more scatter but nothing below 80 something perventile. I think it gives me enough info for our needs anyway so retesting will only happen if things change. I actually think will have fewer problems at school so he may be easier to advocate for.

Maybe all those star jumps wore him out... LOL. Another smart little cookies for you, but you already knew that!

The psycholgist certainly looked tired. Apparently he was running laps around the room between questions. Yes I knew he was bright. The testing was to get ammunition for the local equivalent of early entry. It is a weird system but actually I could have put off the testing because they went along with my suggestion without the results. It won't be confirmed until the end of the year though so having the results could be a bonus then.
