I saw the other thread where there were recommendations for a few CTC books. So, instead of hijacking that thread, I thought that I would start a new thread with the list of books that people can recommend.
In our house, CTC workbooks are the only ones that get fully used up and all pages get done. DS6 loves to pull out one and do it on his own occasionally. These are his favorites:
    1. Mathematical Reasoning
    2. Balance Benders
    3. Math analogies
    4. Mind Benders
    5. Reading Detective
He has finished one level of these books and has moved to the next level.
We also have the Perplexor books from another company.
So, what else do you guys recommend?

We love Perplexors, Analogies, and Mindbenders, but not sure any books we have are from CTC. We may need to look into what they have to offer.

DS4 loves the Mathematical Reasoning books. We are one our third from that series. I have been wondering which other books to try so this thread is very helpful. Thanks.

Well, we have the huge Building Thinking Skills books from CTC too. But, it is too huge and repetitive for DS and he does not have the time to go through all of it.

But, it is a good book and we have had some interesting discussions when he was going through the word analogies section. it might work for a homeschooling scenario where some of it would be practice, some for review and some for tests.

(I just checked my stash of "logic" workbooks - we have all the Lollipop Logic series and some books from Tinman press as well.)

DS9 completed both levels of Inference Jones without complaint. He wasn't keen on Mathematical Reasoning due to repetition and because all the levels we tried were too easy for him. He is currently working through Science Detective but complains that the grading format is unfair (I agree.)

Not CTC but still relevant, I think...

Our DD9 really loved the book Tomfoolery a couple of years or so ago.

I was actually quite sad to see her enthusiastically tell one of the jokes/tricks to her peers and see it fall flat because they just didn't get them at that age LOL. Nevertheless she thoroughly enjoyed telling them to adults and older kids.
