Someone on another thread had recommended the Questionaut game on the BBC website. I did the first two levels, but, I am embarrassed to admit, I can't figure out how to get to the questions on the 3rd level. Here's the website:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks2bitesize/games/questionaut/pop.shtml

The 3rd level is the one with all the animals on a tree suspsended in air. Any ideas?

Never mind. My 6 year old figured it out (well, almost 7).

Okay, that game was so strange I couldn't help myself. I just spent the last 15 minutes feeling like I was in an alternate universe. Is it just me?

I got stuck on level 6 with the old weird dude with the ray gun.

    WTF?

And what's up with the little dude in the weird blue suit in the balloon. He keeps scratching his head. Is he heckling me!
    cry

I wonder if this was created by the same people who did Teletubbies.

Here's a hint to getting past the weird guy with the ray gun: look a the colors and the numbers.

The game is a strange thing - but it's made by the BBC so I chalked it up to that. (Not slamming the British!!!) It's along the lines of Fawlty Towers or Dr. Who.

I think the scratching head thing is an attempt to make him look confused, as in 'huh'?

My kiddo loved it and is begging to do it again.

Yes, I changed the colors in the little boxes in order of the numbers, I'll figure it out later.

-Well, someone should really tell him it comes across as heckling. wink

Thanks squirt for mentioning the game. I just played it a little while ago with my DS7 and we got to the end...yeah! smile The puzzles are a bit challenging, but very clever and fun. I even got to explain some math stuff to him as we answered the questions so that was good...really testing my memory on mean, median, mode, x and y axis and metric conversions. smile

Ok, I had to finish the darn game, too! I wonder how I can send them a message to tell them that "there" is not a pronoun? LOL!

Oh, was I supposed to have my DS6 playing the game with me? smile
