Anybody have any statistics on the number of kids who are admitted to universities without a high school diploma or homeschool transcript?

The University of Washington has an early entrance program that allows kids to skip high school (or some portion thereof.)

    See http://depts.washington.edu/cscy/programs/earlyentrance/

I think it sounds like a good program because of the support systems they provide.

ETA, Here's a list of early entry programs:

The University of Iowa might be a good choice because that is where the Belin-Blank Center is located. I believe the University of Iowa is also in the top 100 list of top national universities according to the U.S. News and World Report ranking.

If you are not interested in early entrance programs, you need to check with the universities that you are interested in for the entrance requirement.

It might be pretty difficult. University of California (UC) system, for an example, have quite uniform minimum requirements called UC eligibility.

    1) take 15 year long UC designated academic classes (a-g classes) including 4 year English.
    2) GPA for 10th and 11th grade a-g classes
    3) SAT/ACT and SAT II test

This is not a big deal for those who take 4 years of high school, but it might be hard to meet if the kid spends only 2 year in high school

But there are always exceptions. UC allows high school students to plea their cases for not meeting the minimum requirements to individual campuses.
