My DD took the SCAT in spring of 2011 & in fall of 2011 her new elementary school gave her the WASI test. She fell in the above average range both times but not quiet high enough to get into any programs. I would love to get her enrolled in either the GATE program or Davidson. She finds school boring and would love to be challenged! My question is should I have the school retest her with the WASI or should I go private and have an IQ test done? Her reading and math scores @ school put her in late 5th to mid 6th grd and shes in 4th.
Just a mom trying to do what would be best for her kid!
