As of yesterday we officially got an IEP for DS7. I'm SO relieved to have at least gotten this far. He'll be receiving 30 minutes of direct services per day to help with his anxiety, social skills, behavior and sensory issues as well as 20 minutes each week with the Occupational Therapist to deal with the sensory issues. We've also finally gotten him onto the special ed bus (today was the first day) and he seems really happy about that too. It's still early in the process and we'll have to see how it all works out but I'm feeling hopeful!

Glad to hear it! I imagine the changes in his daily routine will make a nice difference.
