I have developed a survey that I hope can help parents and teachers better understand the educational needs of their gifted children. The survey presents several "Flavors" of instruction, and asks students to choose which subjects they would prefer to take in that flavor.

I developed an earlier version of this survey for my sister to give to her gifted daughter. She learned something about her child through the survey, I hope this happens for you as well.

Some facts you may want to know:
I didn't use the word gifted in the survey.
The survey requires students to fantasize a little bit about a school that does not exist.
This is not a scientific survey.
I am not doing this as part of any academic coursework, but I do hope to begin graduate school in gifted education about a year from now.
I am a general education teacher. I may offer it to some of my own students, informally.
I have not asked for names, towns, or any identifying information.
I expect to report some aggregate results at some point in the future in this thread.
If you give me the date and the time you hit the submit button, and the child's age, I can probably copy and paste your child's answers into a private message to you. Some of you may find this useful to have in writing.

I am really looking forward to looking at the survey and showing it to my daughter. I think it migh be very helpful to me, and to have come at just the right moment. However, I cannot get the link to open.
