I'm finding more and more that my 3yr old is getting steriotyped... people talk about him needing a "tough" brother to protect "the brain" and stuff like that. He *is* small for his age, but, frankly, he's the one who runs around with his shoes off even across straw bales and other rough surfaces, hauls heavy loads compaired to noteably older children, gets covered in shin bruises and doesn't care, and... well, you get the picture, he's small (thats partly meds), but tough and capable physically.

Um... what do I do? Why does this happen? Does it even matter?

DS1: Hon, you already finished your homework
DS2: Quit it with the protesting already!
