My 2pworth - do, but point out to him that if he needs review but doesn't do it, the topic will very likely get taken off his pie at the next assessment, and then he'll have to do 2 questions on the topic (typically) to put it back - if he can do one review question and avoid that, he's winning. But leave it up to him to decide, because actually, working out whether or not you need more practice at something is an immensely valuable skill, and it's good for learners to be responsible enough to make it ASAP, IMHO.

We enjoyed Timez Attack for multiplication, although we never paid for the higher levels. I see from the site now that they have division as well, and addition and subtraction are in beta, so we'll have to go and try it again with DD5! It is (or at least was a few years ago) free for the first 5 levels or something like that.

I'll check out Beast Academy. I guess we could do ALEKS with my providing the instruction or subbing in Khan for that, but I'm just surprised that ALEKS is so... 2 dimensional.

I'm toying with checking out the program with Johns Hopkins but it's so expensive!

    Thanks!
