My son was tested on the WISC-IV at 9 years-11 months.
    His results are as follows:

    Verbal comprehension
    Similarities 19
    Vocabulary 16
    Comprehension 16

    Perceptual Reasoning
    Block Design 18
    Picture Concepts 10
    Matrix Reasoning 13

    Working Memory
    Digit Span. 12
    Arithmetic 14

    Processing Speed
    Coding 8
    Symbol Search 14

    Verbal Comprehension 146
    Perceptual Reasoning 126
    Working Memory 118
    Processing Speed 106

Could you help to calculate the Full Scale IQ and GAI ?

    Thank you

I am not a specialist, but with 40 points between PSI and VCI a FSIQ is considered to be pretty much meaningless.

And while the gap between VCI and PRI is < 23 points I seem to remember something about spread between subtests making indexes invalid that make me wonder at the validity of your son's PRI, and maybe even his PSI.

Google WISC-IV Technical Report #4: General Ability Index.
Per that document I think your son's GAI would be 139.

In fact the tester commented that my son is probably gifted but failed the PSI tests (coding) because of psychomotricity issues.
However I don't know how to interprate his results. If you can help me that would be great. Thanks
