Don't you love it when you are around people that GET IT!!! We had my ds9 visit a new school today(yes it is private but a reasonable private)but they will accelerate to a child's need- BY SUBJECT!!! They did some assessment testing and basically he is 1-2 grade levels above his current grade in the subjects they tested (they did not test all- they will get a full picture when they assess upon enrollment). The only downside is they are not opening for his age until fall 2012 but they want him!!!! His maturity level would hold him back from being put in with the middle schoolers in January and having them teach to his level(I sadly must agree his maturity is not at the same level as his brain), they want the 4th and 5th graders to be more supervised and have more structure than the middle schoolers so they want the right environment for him when he starts. So he can be a 4th grader and do the level work he needs too!! Can Fall 2012 start now???? Most importantly ds LOVED IT!!!

Isn't it wonderful to walk into a place that gets our kids? We have that happening with DS8 right now. So glad you found that place.
