My son and daughter are fortunate enough to attend a charter school for gifted children and my son is also a Davidson Young Scholar. The school is the Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy in Charlotte, NC. As many of you know charter schools depend on much of their funding from donations. We were nominated to participate in a grant from Clorox that would provide $50,000 to provide lighting and sound for a stage that we built but were not able to completely fund. We are hoping to at least win our category which would be $25,000.

Our website is http://www.scholarsacademy.org

We are in the "Create" category. Here is a link

We are limited as you can imagine since we only have a little over 300 students for a k-8 program. To help out simply text

I apologize for posting this here but gifted children struggle so much to get a break regarding schooling that I thought I'd reach out to a community that would understand.
