fyi, as to the long and boring... for some reason the beginning algebra has not had that drag of repetition at all, if anyone is considering that. Just a lesson and then a few problems, and then another lesson.
Lessons build on each other so the practice comes through using things learned previously in new kinds of problems. Not just same kinds of problems over and over.

Is there a difference in the courses for Open Enrollment versus the classes available individually at the higher prices?

For instance, in the "Beginning Algebra" description on the OE website, I found the following statement:

"Note: This course is distinct from the Honors Beginning Algebra course offered through EPGYs honors program." (http://epgy.stanford.edu/school/openenroll/courses)

Also, is it true that the content for some or all of the EPGY classes is Thinkwell? (http://www.thinkwellhomeschool.com/)

Very curious as well about the different beginning algebra courses offered.

Resurrecting this old thread. How different are the "Beginning algebra" vs "honors beginning algebra" courses? I sure would rather pay the OE price...
