In the spirit on not hijacking smile the opera thread reminded me that we borrowed a CD from the library, returned it, but it wasn't there when we went back, so I haven't been able to find it again. DS really enjoyed it.

It was a version of the magic flute, with voice actors telling a story in English, where a girl whose mother is in the opera getting lost in the land and all that. It had the music (abridged I think) as well. I've tried searching, but magic flute returns a zillion entries so I haven't had much luck. I think it was a British production, if that's any help.

    Any ideas?

Perhaps a librarian from that branch could help?
    Good luck

Speaking of hijacking... many movie theaters show live operas from the Met. I've been meaning to take DD.
