What sort of math things would you expect to see from a child who just turned five and is applying to DYS? She is stronger in language and I have tons of materials in verbal areas, but am not sure what to show for math. What would be considered unusual enough for a child who is entering kindergaten to do in math? We don't work on all that much. She tells time and has told time for years, does simple fractions, has been skip counting since three, adds and subtracts and does a little mulitplication. As I said, she is not a math genius, so I have not been sure what to present...
