    Greeetings Davidson community,

I have recently been elected the head of the local GT parents advocacy group in our local district. As we look towards building our constituency and providing meaningful services in support of our district, one of the ideas being kicked around is doing two surveys. One of parents of GT identified students and another of GT teachers.

I've been succesful in finding some sample parent surveys by reaching out to other parent groups, but I haven't been able to find a sample parent survey.

While I can certainly write our own, I'm wondering if there is anyone here who has overseen such a teacher survey.

The feedback from those who have done parent surveys, was very helpful. I'm hoping to strike similar gold on the teacher survey side.

    Hi Jrl,
I'm having trouble understanding your post...
Do you need GT parent surveys? I dont' know of any, but a really good book to work off of is A Parents Guide to Gifted Children.

    Take a look here: http://www.sengifted.org/smpg_parent_groups.shtml

In fact, I would contact SENG by phone - they may have just what you are looking for - a wonderful organization. They do a great job of training local parent to run 'parent discussion groups' to help gifted families.

If you do write your own survey, post it here, we'll check it for you!

    Smiles,
    Grinity

Do you mean you haven't been able to find a sample teacher survey?

Correct -- it's a sample teacher survey that I am hoping to find.
