I had never heard of this until I followed a link suggested on this forum.

Does anyone have insight on this? I searched the forum and found a few mentions of it, but not much to think about. I've googled it and read a few sites about it, but am wondering how it might play out in the gifted population (e.g. could a gifted child just look "average" in math and not be identified, or is it very obvious even with gifties?)

Really curious if anyone's child has been screened for this or identified with it.

    Thanks!

I don't have personal experience with it but know other gifted kids who have been identified with it. Not sure if the links you read include articles by the Eides? Here's a link to their dyscalculia articles. http://eideneurolearningblog.blogspot.com/search?q=dyscalculia
