One of my boys was accepted to the dual language program at a different elementary school. His name was pulled in the lottery. I think this will meet his needs because he will be able to spend all his excess mental energy not in everyone else's business but on learning Spanish.

My older son is a bit miffed because he doesn't have a special program to go to like his younger brother and he will be in middle school. He is considering taking a middle school (not a high school) introductory Spanish class starting in June through the Virtual School. I have a feeling he will speed through that and then take the Intermediate class. We are still looking at all of the 6th grade options for him.

congrats on the dual language program! We are on the waiting list for a chinese immersion .. however the point may be moot as ds5 may be able to skip kindergarten.
