Babycenter.com has always been a good resource for us. They send periodic e-mails based on age but have opportunities for reading ahead. (plus it is free!!)

I did use the What to Expect series (including Toddler Years) and just learned to stop paying attention to the ages and start paying attention to the behaviors.
