FlyingMouse congrats on your D's acceptances as well.

aeh: Yes.. but it's worth it. Despite the kid being all "I'm going to do everything myself" and get out of my hair over the past few months. This fall he told me he didn't need his 504 for English this year, he was going to handle it himself. What he doesn't realize is that having the 504.. made that teacher a lot more accommodating. He basically got himself excused from having to journal write every day. smile

And the communication I had with the teacher who's writing him a letter of rec brought tears to my eye's. This teacher had him freshman year & junior year and really saw how much my son grew and matured over the past two years. Wonderful teacher who teachers very difficult classes whom it takes a lot to impress.
