Hi all,
I'm new here. Our 6-year-old son recently received a WASI screening that identified him as gifted. He currently attends a private school and while we're entitled to a full scale assessment through the school district, they are not obligated to do it during the summertime so we're looking for alternatives.
My question to all of you though: Where to start? One psychologist we reached out to mentioned doing a WISC-V as well as a Woodcock Johnson IV.
Being new to all of this, what other recommendations would you have? What guidance would you share parents who are new to this gifted designation such as ourselves?
