We are looking into public schools in the Princeton area (Mecer County) and Bergen County in New Jersey. We are looking for a school district that offers acceleration in Math as standard(at a minimum pre-algebra or equivalent in 6th grade and Algebra 1 in 7th grade)without being pressure cooker environments.
Is anyone familiar with schools in these areas? If so, please share your experience. Any info will be welcome. It could be your own experience or the experience of other families you know whose kids attend public schools in Bergen or Mercer county.
