My son was six but he read every single goosebumps (and there are lik 300 of them). And Geronimo Stilton mainly because he is not a good browser so he knew where these books were and just always went back. I try and teach him the art of browsing the stacks but he just isn't good at it. He prefers someone give him a reading list based on knowing him...at ten I still browse for him and pull potential books for him. Some are hits some are misses.
Right now he is using lists for the middle school young readers award...but he read all from this year so he is going though past years. We looked at the high school but some of the topics just don't speak to him.
