Well, I was going to ask here about my DD throwing a test, and you beat me to it. DD has been doing great in her pre algebra class at an "after school school". Last week she received a 39 on her test and her teacher asked for a parent teacher conference. When DD told me her score she was so excited that I became very suspicious. She happily asked if she could quit the class because her score was so low! She knew of another child who left the class because she didn't do well on a test. Hmmmm. Fortunately, the teacher knows very well that DD knows the work.DD was crestfallen why I explained that she didn't get to leave the school.
We are trying to decide if we will let her leave the class as she is moving into another grade, and that will be plenty of stress. She can always go back later.
