Our DS has Amblyopia, not Strabismus. He has his first VT appt. on Tuesday. His problem is one eye is weak and isn't pulling it's weight when it comes to sight. The vision screening his Kinder gave him showed 20/40 in one eye and 20/20 in the other and subsequently our optometrist tried eye patching to strengthen the weak eye. But if not for our own research on Amblyopia, I never would have known to get a referral to a VT. Here's a site to check out:
