We've had to cut :cough-cough: someone... off cold-turkey from Webkins, then Pokemon, then something else...

because each new thing seems to become The Obsession that Ate Real Life without a Backward Glance. (sigh)

We found that interactive activities AWAY from the computer tend to produce better results since there are natural time-limits on such things. (That's my helpful tip re: this type of child.)
