When I read this thread title initially, I thought the Milgram in question was Stanley. Made for a particularly eye-catching title and some interesting initial hypotheses about the thread!

Thinking of Stanley Milgram, psychologist, and his notorious works in obedience to authority (peer shock)... chilling!

James Milgram, mathematician, was perhaps a more independent thinker as compared with those in Stanley Milgram's study. Not all will agree with James Milgram' observations on CCSS math standards, but I do appreciate his candor and transparency of process.
