    (Foxtrot Jason, that is, not the other one)

    We're all home sick with colds today. DS8 woke up about 9 am, came stomping out of his room, and said "It's Monday!" I said, "Yes, it is." He said, "Well, I'm supposed to be in school today!" I said, "Yes, but we're all sick today, so you're not in school." And he said,

    "And here I am, not learning ANYTHING!!!"

    And burst into tears, unconsolable.
