My alma mater Northwestern [size:11pt][/size]announced they only accepted 15 percent of their applicants. The average SAT score is 1480 and ACT is 33 out of 36. The cost for one year is $61,000. Wow that is incredible. Probably the Ivies are similar.

It is ranked #12 for undergrad. It's a great school. My point was simply how competitive it is to get into and how expensive.

T14 is more a term of art than a ranking per se.

It's the third (lowest) level of national law schools.

It just means that you have a good shot at getting an associate position in BigLaw making $160,000 per year working 80 hours a week in NYC so that you can actually pay back the tuition.
