I am playing with the idea of having my DD13 take English 101 at the local university next year. Wondering what others have encountered enrolling their middle school age kid into a university class. I have been trying to locate whether their is an age limit. I am worried about asking the university such a question as I rather not draw attention to it. Her SAT scores are above what they require so I have testing to back up this what some might think as "absurd" idea.

High school students take college classes all the time. 8th grader is a bit young, but not too far off. The college may ask your daughter to take a placement test and jump through some other hoops such as doing an interview, getting an letter recommendation from middle school teacher/counselor, providing a letter that your kid can't get similar class elsewhere, etc.
