Never heard of it but it looks expensive. Anyone else?
Anything with a "Gifted" label attached is expensive! Can't have a smart kid without having money......NOT!
it's held at a college right down the block from me (Union College)
this women who has a gifted kid in the same district suggested it.... looks sort of, scammy to me too..... like pay us money and we'll tell you you're smart.
But of course I could be wrong.
It's not down the block from me anymore, it's in Hofstra, on long island.... that is a very fancy school! too far for us!
2nd grade sounds young for a residential program. They don't seem to have options for day students. Surprising.
I think this is the same place a teacher friend of mine was telling me about. She said teachers can nominate kids, who are then sent letters saying they can participate for a large amount of money. Her sd had sent out email to tell the teachers not to nominate.
