DD6 is off at a "forest school" type class for six hours of stomping through the woods, finding newts, learning about mushrooms, and splashing in streams.
Gee, she could be sitting in a classroom reading a badly-written textbook about habitats.
Yup. This pretty much sums up why we'll be homeschooling next year when DS turns 4.
By the way, so glad homeschooling is a positive experience so far! Will be reading along with great interest.
I hope you are in a very temperate climate because the way the weather is like here right now. I'd take any well heated classroom over being miserable splashing through streams, no matter how badly written the book...
Then again, maybe not. Do you have not chocolate ready for when she comes in?
With marshmallows!
And yes,
very temperate. Let's put it this way, the entire population of this region is practically dancing naked in the streets because we're so happy to have rain.
Now THAT sounds exciting...!
