WOW.
Looks promising but there doesn't seem to be many people from my area signed up yet.
Yes, thanks Austin. It looks very promising. I do see a creative writing tutor close to us.

I wonder if any of the signed up teachers would be open to correspondence tutoring via the internet?
Hi Austin & others,

I'm one of the founders of School of Everything - and I just wanted to say, I'm really glad you guys have discovered the site.

I have strong memories of what it was like to be bored by schoolwork that didn't challenge me - and, at times, becoming (seen as) disruptive for teachers who couldn't handle this. So providing wider opportunities for gifted students is a cause close to my heart.

School of Everything is still at a fairly early stage, though we're growing fast and doing everything we can to enlarge the range of subjects and localities covered. To answer incogneato's question, I know that many of the teachers listed on the site are open to providing distance tutoring over the internet. From the contact I've had with our teachers, what comes across is how keen they are to find students who have a real hunger for their subject - whether they're across the street or in a different timezone.

If anyone has questions or thoughts about how we could grow the site and make it more useful, please do drop me a line.

Many thanks,

Dougald Hine

Thank you Thank you Thank you!

How exciting that you took this amazing concept and turned it into a workable solution for people seeking to share knowledge.

I'm very much looking forward to taking advantage of it.

Thanks again!

Hmm, anyone else get a pop-up saying that the registration information was being sent to an insecure site? I cancelled out before completing the registration.
